ARGUS was founded October 1990 in Oldenburg,
as ARGUS GESELLSCHAFT FUER UMWELTMESSTECHNIK MBH (Registry: Walsrode HRB 121846). In 1995 J.R. Gutkuhn joined the company as a technical manager and owns 50% as a partner. In September 2001 ARGUS moved to Ritterhude close to Bremen, Germany. J.R. Gutkuhn is the only owner of the company.
